Experience a Caribbean Music Journey with Trincan Steel Orchestra
Formed in 1982 by Cecil. T. George. Trincan Steel Orchestra has been a cornerstone of Edmonton's Cultural Community for over 40 years.
As one of the few full steel bands in Alberta, Trincan brings the vibrant sound of the Caribbean to life through a diverse repertoire that spans Pop, Reggae, Calypso and Soca.
At the heart of our music is the Steel Pan, an instrument created in Trinidad and Tobago, now recognized as the country's national instrument and celebrated as the only acoustic instrument invented in the 20th Century.
Trincan Steel Orchestra is proud to share the rhythms and soul of the islands, brining energy, joy and connection to audiences wherever we perform.
